एक वो है की पीछे पलटकर तक नहीं देखती !

एक हम हैं की नजरे उसी पर टिकाए बैठे हैं ।।

होंठो पर हल्की लाली और माथे पर लाल बिंदिया लगा के आए ।।

सामने समंदर है मगर हम प्यास में रहते हैं ।

बहुत से हसीन चेहरे हैं इस जमाने में,

मगर हम उसी एक चेहरे के तलाश में रहते हैं ।।

There is an ocean in front, but we live in thirst.

There are many beautiful faces in this age,

But we keep looking for the same face.

पड़ेगा गमों से पाला तो तुझे गम समझ आयेंगे ।

जब ठुकराएगा ये जमाना तुझे, तब हम समझ आयेंगे।।

If you are brought up with sorrow, you will understand sorrow.

When this era will reject you, then we will understand.

मेरी आदतें बिगड़ रहीं हैं,

इसलिए खुद को खराब लिखूंगा मैं ।

तुझे देखने के बाद होश गवां बैठता हूं,

तुझे अपनी नज्मों में शराब लिखूंगा मैं ।।

My habits are getting worse

That's why I write myself poorly.

I lose my senses after seeing you,

I will write you wine in my poems.

जब हम मिलने आयेंगे तो मोहब्बत का पैगाम लेकर आएंगे ।

अगर हुए कामयाब तो शादी के कार्ड पर तेरा नाम छपवाएंगे ।।

When we come to meet, we will bring the message of love.
